New Year, New Me! Is a free awareness week that focuses on establishing support for self care across communities, families and generations. More needs to be done to support people to better look after their own health. Empowering individuals to self care has many benefits for their short term and long term health and this is important as people are living longer. Helping to look after their own health, and their family’s health also helps manage demand on health services.
Come along and find out more about health and wellbeing and what it takes to manage your own long term health condition. Workshops and talks will provide information and advice on the following:
- Tools and techniques such as - Mindfulness, Pacing, Medication, Sleep and many more to be available to try in our many workshops of the day
- Programmes the centre offers to include ACTivate Your Life and Invest in Your Health
