A year of fundraising has come to an end at NPT Homes, with staff raising over £2700 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Staff at the hosing association voted to support the charity at the beginning of 2016 and then set about raising money throughout the year. Fundraising events included cake sales, raffles and fancy dress days.
NPT Homes Lettings Officer Wendy Williams was at the forefront of the fundraising activities. She said:
“Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that is very close to my heart as we needed their support on several occasions over the years. I am very grateful to my colleagues for their generosity over the past year in raising this amount of money for a very worthwhile cause.”
Chris Stoakes from the Alzheimer’s Society said:
“We are very thankful to NPT Homes for their superb fundraising efforts during 2016. The money raised will go to help fund research, provide support and campaign for a better quality of life for people with dementia.”
Since 2011, NPT Homes has raised almost £13,000 for charity and in 2017 will be supporting the Bubble Foundation, a charity which helps treat children suffering from defective immune systems. More stories
