Come and see a production especially devised for the youngest children by Arad Goch Theatre Company!
Music, dance, flying, dreams, a magical world where socks turn into breakfast… and a lot of fun! Do I Have to Wake Up? is an interactive production for young children, which is a feast for the imagination!
The audience gets a chance to build their own stories in a performance which touches on themes such as sharing, creating and friends. Join us in the dreamy world of this production, which broke new grounds in the world of children’s theatre in Wales by mixing the contemporary choreography of Eddie Ladd with traditional Welsh music from the 18th Century.
The show has interactive elements woven throughout the performance. It utilises soft fabrics and materials and has an array of themes, including strong elements of music, movement and dance; this will inspire activities within the classroom and at home, giving value both creatively and educationally. The show was nominated for an award for Best Production for Children and Young People in the Wales Theatre Awards 2016.
Do I Have To Wake Up? will be at Theatr Brycheiniog on Monday 26 June at 11.00am & 1.30pm, and Tuesday 27 June at 11.00am; tickets cost £10 (concs £7) and are available online at brycheiniog.co.uk or by contacting box office on 01874 611622.
