??????Are you looking for a fun event in a fabulous location?
??????If so, ‘The Great British Dog Walk’ at Margam Park on Sunday 26th April, ticks both those boxes!
It’s an enjoyable sponsored walk which raises money to help Hearing Dogs for Deaf People train more life-changing hearing dogs.
There are two marshal led walks to choose from – a shorter 3km family route, and the longer 5 km route takes in more of this beautiful Country Park. You may even be lucky enough to spot the famous Margam Park deer herd!
(Don’t forget to wear suitable walking footwear and clothing to fit the weather.)
Registration will be from 10am, and there’ll be a Hearing Dog Demonstration and a Fun Dog Show at 10.30 to enjoy before the walk starts at 11.
Parking is free as it’s included in the registration fee: adults £10 online - remember to bring your ticket(s), or £12 on the day. All adults will receive a free dog bandana, while children (under 16) and dogs go free! (All dogs to be kept on leads.)
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People hope that participants will ask their friends / family / work colleagues for sponsorship, as every penny raised will go towards training Hearing Dogs. These amazing dogs assist deaf people in their everyday lives, helping them to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life!
Everyone who raises over £50, will be sent a special Great British Dog Walk certificate to say thank you!
